The Homeless Resource Fair is a one day event that connects homeless individuals and their families in our community with as many resources as possible.  The event provides individuals with medical services, referrals to social service agencies, benefits enrollment, legal assistance, food, backpacks, clothing, haircuts, hygiene products and much more.

Each year the fair distributes these specific items, purchased with generous financial contributions by members of the Austin community, to over 700 individuals.  This year has seen a decrease in the number of contributions, and yet the Fair will continue to serve those homeless individuals, providing them with hats, gloves, socks and underwear as we move into colder weather.

On behalf of ECHO, the Homeless Resource Fair, and our homeless brothers and sisters here in Austin, we are making a plea to the community to please consider making a financial contribution this year to help purchase the items so desperately needed.  These items make a valuable difference in the life of a homeless individual, items that  sometimes we as housed individuals take for granted.

If you are able to contribute in any way, please make a check payable to ECHO and forward it to Att:  Homeless Resource Fair, P. O. Box 301228, Austin 78703.

If you would like more information on the services, and items, provided to our homeless brothers and sisters, please read more on the ECHO website here.  Donations may also be made through the PayPal link on their site.

We are grateful to those in the Austin community that have continued to support our efforts to end homelessness, and thank you for your contribution!
