We're proud to have a diverse staff and board of directors that bring a wide range of expertise to benefit our clients and programs.
Our program staff presents extensive experience in developing and providing homeless services and community collaboration. Our direct services staff includes several formerly homeless people. Having a mix of professionals with both formal training and firsthand knowledge of the streets allows us to create an atmosphere where homeless clients feel welcome, respected and understood.
Our Board of Directors includes representatives from other Austin service provider agencies, and Austin 's business and faith communities. Our members from other agencies come from a range of backgrounds including mental illness and substance abuse services, and permanent affordable housing. Our business community representatives advise on public relations, media, law, architecture, and finance. Our members from the faith community provide connections to the volunteer and material support of local churches. Additionally, homeless representatives provide direction for programs and insight to the accessibility of services and needs of clients.
