Garden Terrace Residences
In September of 2003, Front Steps and Foundation Communities opened Garden Terrace, Austin 's first permanent supportive housing facility for homeless adults with on-site social services support. Garden Terrace features 85 single-room residences that each have a private bath and mini-kitchen, and shared access to a full-size kitchen, computer lab/library, TV lounge, sitting rooms, game room and quiet lounge. On-site social services include:
- case management
- employment services
- life skills training
- support groups
- connection to other community resources
