ARCH Services
The ARCH stands for the Austin Resource Center for the Homeless, which is managed by the non-profit organization Front Steps. The ARCH is comprised of a Day Resource Center, an Emergency Overnight Shelter, and a Community Health Clinic.
Front Steps, along with 9 other social service agencies, is committed to helping you find a way home. We provide basic needs, shelter, housing, case management, help with mental illness, and substance abuse and alcohol recovery programs, among other services.
Hours of Operation
The Day Resource Center (DRC) is open from 6:30 am until 5:30 pm Monday through Friday and from 6:30 am until 4:00 pm on Saturday and Sunday. The DRC is available for anyone and women can participate in day sleep. At 6:00 pm, we open as an Emergency Overnight Shelter and only adult men are able to spend the night.
